Email Alert not showing IP adress

Hi,

I’m quite new to librenms and I’m trying out the email alert feature. Even though I’ve added {{ alert->ip }} to the template it won’t tell me the IP address of the alerting device.

My devices were all added by their IP, the webgui also shows the correct ip of the devices, but it just won’t show up in the email alert.

Could someone please guide me in the right direction on how to find out why this is happening?

That should be {{ $alert->ip }} with a dollar sign.
