Just want to dig out this “old” topic.
We just updated our ESXi servers to current patch level.
Now it looks like the VMs running on the ESXis are showing up.
Just if someone is still interested in it.
I know this is an old topic, but still. I’ve discovered recently when I was backuping my vcenter vm, that the vm analystycis and statsmonitor services were down. The fix is easy ssh into the vcenter vm, drop into shell and issue the commands : service-control --status to check that the services are actually not running or stopped. And then just reactivate them with service-control --start vmware-analytics and service-control --start vmware-statsmonitor . After that the VMs appear in the librenms interface.
