I am having a issue with my LibreNMS server where any server I have added by it’s FQDN will show down at random times. There is no pattern and happens maybe once a week or two. I have to shut the Libre server down and bring it back up then the down alerts clear. None of my devices added via IP show down with this happens. I am not experiencing any ping dropouts to these servers so I am unsure where to look next. All my DNS settings set on the server are correct. Thanks for any guidance.
One thing you can do is install a local caching DNS server on the LibreNMS server.
Also, if you control the upstream servers, you might want to check them.
