It seems that the only way to change poller group is one device at the time from the GUI or set the value straight into the database. Would it be difficult to implement a feature that would set the poller group for the devices based on their device group?
This is a good idea. Not sure if distributed polling could do the same thing.
I mean that this is something that would be used if you are using distributed polling. For example, if you have 2 pollers, you could set all the devices in device group A to be polled by poller 1 and all the devices that belong to device group B to be polled by poller 2.
With this, you would not have set pollers per single device. Pretty tedious to set 400 switches to use different poller one by one from the gui…
