Getting hammered with 'Ignored x.x.x.x (ip address)' Eventlog messages

Hi everyone. Hopefully this is an easy one.

This is the second LibreNMS server I’ve configured to monitor these same devices… I didn’t get these Eventlog messages the first time. So I’m wondering what I’ve done wrong or at least what the Eventlog means.

This seems to only happen with interfaces (L3 Vlan and vlan tagged interfaces) on Juniper SRX firewalls and Juniper EX switches.

Screenshot of what I’m seeing:

Output for ./validate.php
$ ./validate.php

Component Version
LibreNMS 21.2.0-23-g0a8f24c5b
DB Schema 2021_02_21_203415_location_add_fixed_coordinates_flag (200)
PHP 7.3.27-1~deb10u1
Python 3.7.3
MySQL 10.3.27-MariaDB-0+deb10u1
RRDTool 1.7.1
SNMP NET-SNMP 5.7.3
====================================

[OK] Composer Version: 2.0.11
[OK] Dependencies up-to-date.
[OK] Database connection successful
[OK] Database schema correct

This is probably just a lack of understanding about what the Eventlog message is saying and could be resolved on the device end.

Bumping the thread.

Have the same on vlans for cisco switches. Would be nice with an explanation and possible with a way to ignore the ignore messages.
