Group Alerts not working

Hi All

So have changed from IP’s to host names in order to start grouping devices. One of the main reasons was for alerts as I only wanted alerts from certain devices. So I created the groups and seem to work fine as when choosing a group only those devices appear. In the Alert rules I specify the groups I want the alert rule to apply to, but from some reason I’m now not getting anything (worked fine before I specified the groups).

Is there something additional that needs to get done?

Ok so it’s working now. Sometime after creating and testing my groups (which worked fine) the groups stopped working and obviously once selected under alerts it technically wasn’t monitoring any devices.

So I edited the groups and put the same settings back in (I keep copies of all changes/additions to my setup religiously nowadays) and all is fine again.
