Having trouble getting syslog working with LibreNMS

I have LIbreNMS installed and working and I wanted to integrate syslog with it. I used this doc to configure it Syslog - LibreNMS Docs. I got it installed and the service says it’s running, but I can’t see the syslog option under overview. I added this “$config[‘enable_syslog’] = 1;” to the config.php but it just shows up on the web gui page in plain text.

Any suggestions?

Did you put the config line right at the top of the config.php file? Before the

<?php

line? Because it should be after that line …

So for whatever reason that wasn’t at the biggening of my config file lol.

Just added it and it works, thanks!
