Help understanding Python Dispatcher announcement on redis

Hi. I’m just reading the latest announcement:

Version two of the LibreNMS python dispatcher service will merged on May 21, 2019. This code now requires Redis 5.x and redis-py 3.x to operate (if using distributed polling). Failure to update Redis before v2 is released will cause your pollers to stop functioning.

and unclear if it relates to me.

The announcement above is only for users of distributed polling?

I only have one LibreNMS server which queries about 20 or so clients, and that’s it.

CentOS is used and EPEL repo installed redis v3.2.12-2, but redis itself isn’t running on the LibreNMS machine.

So just wondering if I should be concerned about upgrading redis.

Correct. You’d probably know if you were using distributed pollers.
