How to monitor a specific port?

I have public IP addresses and also private what if I want to monitor a specific ports on a device using alert rules ?

Just reference the port by name in the alert rule, ifName or ifAlias.

Can I do it for a network range ? and how I can do it ?

By IP that would be a lot harder and Iā€™m not even sure possible without a very complex SQL query (so I guess the answer is yes if you want to put the work in to figure it out). You can easily do it against device type or a regex on hostnames or similar things like that.
