i would like to manually edit port ifSpeed of switch HP 5900.
it will auto recovery to the speed read from device every 5 minutes.
it edit ifSpeed of Nexus 9300, it works fine.
Sounds like your device is return bad data. Has the firmware been updated?

i test on another HP 5900 with latest firmware, it’s OK.
It’s returning that speed from SNMP and librenms just reports the data back. That being said if you look in the poller debug and the discovery that’s what’s being returned. You need to trouble shoot that device to see why it’s returning thwt if speeds.
Also you said you tested on another device with updated firmware. So the device that is having issues, has it been updated and or restarted??
