Ifxxxxxxxxxxx: false -> NULL

Hello dear Community,

we have problems after we discoverd and pulled the devices (109x) that some of them (at the moment 1-2 devices) give us the messages on the eventlog (see on the picture).

I dont know if this is a problem with the discovery or smth else. We are using the Poller BETA and have the same “error” with the old ones so there should be not the problem.

If you need to post any text longer than a few lines, please use a pastebin service such as https://p.libren.ms using non-expiring pastes.

if you need more log (debug, configs etc) dont hesitate to ask, it would be very nice if someone can explain me / us this messages or the problem with it.

Usually this means the snmp response from the device was cut off.

Check for device bugs.

all right, so its just a notification.
Another Question -

if i’ll install from RDDTool 1.4.x to 1.6.0 i dont need the Deamon from your documentation anymore right?
Because with Version 1.6.0 the Systemd Deamon is not working anymore because rrdcached is not under /usr/bin/

But with logic on the Webinterface -> Global Settings -> RRDtool Setup, the path to rrdtool is needed (already /usr/bin/rrdtool) so think i answerd my self the question but i need to be sure :slight_smile:

In the documentation is nothing written about it.

https://docs.librenms.org/#Extensions/RRDCached/

So its obsolet ? (the deamon)

Thanks for your help
