Ignore all unused/down ports.. loopbacks etc.. prior to enabling alerting

Is there a way to ignore all unused/down ports and loopbacks and tun etc…prior to enabling alerting?

I want to turn on alerting but do not want to get bombarded with alerts for stuff I don’t care about.

Down ports with adminstatus down will not trigger alert. Only those who are adminup but operdown.

For loopbacks and tun, you can exclude them in the alert
