Installing pre-built CentOS 7 on VMware ESXi

Hi People

I need assistance with installing the pre-built CentOS 7 image on VMware ESXi, I have opened the image on Virtualbox and exported the file and then I tried installing it on ESXi and I get an error "unsupported hardware family "virtualbox-2.2’

Yeah, you can do it but it is a pain in the butt. Honestly, it would be quicker for you to install centos then follow the install docs (which are mostly just copy and paste)

is it possible to install a fresh copy CentOS 7 and use the vmdk file, or is that not possible? I am trying to use the Oxidized Application.

Much easier to just download a CentOS 7 ISO, install that then follow our install docs.

It took me about 30 minutes to install a minimal CentOS 7 AND the whole LibreNMS stuff.
So as suggested by murrant and laf, read through the docs and so yourself a favour and install it from scratch.
