ISIS-topology as a network map

Possibility to view current ISIS-topology as a map. Each link should be placed on the map with their current state. Data is already saved into the DB if the ISIS polling module is enabled. An UI feature should be enough to handle this use case.

What would be the best approach for this use case? I have not really looked into the current code of generating maps. An additional enhancement to this would be the possibility to draw the links and device nodes on world map with device’s coordinates.

Your request makes me wonder if there is a way to do a network map based on OSPF and BGP topology?

UI-wise, maybe a sub-menu to choose Physical, OSPF, IS-IS and BGP depending on what was discovered on the device?

I am assuming all of the required info to build a map is collected for all protocols. I’m not sure if there is anything else required than feeding the data to the network mapping section.

Could possibly use bgp ls?

In the links table, there is a field called protocol. You can filter based on that column.

Nice didn’t realize that!
