Would that be possible? It is horrible for me. My firefox won’t remember with what I log in, so I’m picking whatever gmail account (I have many), but that looks stupid, me responding to my own thread using multiple user names.
(I don’t do facebook or twitter, so it is basically only google).
A simple UID/PWD would be much much nicer.

I’m not sure what others think in the core team but I chose not to do it as I don’t want to maintain a database of login details. With all the reports of system compromises I just don’t want to be attributed with a leaked user list with credentials.
