Manual thresholds are been overwritten

Hi@all,

I got an issue with a sensor for an optical interface on a Juniper EX3400.

The threshols don’t really make sense, LibreNMS always alerts “sensor over limit”, so I set the thresholds manually.

So far so good.
But after a few hours/days (random) the values are set to the old senseless ones without having done anything.

Hi,

Check the eventlog for that device. Did it, at same time threshold changes, deleted and re-added sensors?

@Jarod2801For your information, you can also disable the auto-threshold behaviour, but as @TheGreatDoc said, the issue is most probably a sensor beeing deleted and re-added.

I suspect the auto-threshold stuff respects custom sensor thresholds, but perhaps when the threshold is set by the device it ignores it? any one able to confirm or deny that?

I am in vacation at the moment.
