Mariadb.service failed to start

Newly installed, maybe three weeks old. Only 191 items added so far.

Running Debian 12 as a VM.

While adding a device, during save, the web page stopped working. Checking the common errors like systemctl status indicated a degraded condition. Trying to attach the screen shot.

Checking systemctl status mariadb.service has this output.

Not sure what to do, still learning the system. So please excuse my newness.

Ideas, suggestions or any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Ok, update:

the single 80GB disk was/is full. so i know the issue. 70GB of it is in the rrd folder.

So working on adding a drive and moving the rrd folder to that drive.

The next question is a matter of sizing. how big should the drive(s) be? this was about 190 devices and only for two to three weeks. and rrd used that much space already.

rrd files are fixed size, they always take the same amount of space as when they are created.
