I decided to build my LibreNMS instance on a Hetzner server. Hetzner’s always worked really well for me, and it is very affordable. However, I forgot to consider the distance—the server is located in Germany and my monitored servers are in North America. This of course makes the ping times much higher and I get a lot of alerts.
Is there an easy way for me to migrate my build to another machine without having to go through the pain of reinstalling and configuring it all?
Other way to do is to make a backup of the current install and restore it on the new enviroment. We did that way the last time but it’s quick-and-dirty way to do so and might not work in every case.
