Monitoring SVI on switches

Hi all!,

I have added around 100 switches to LibreNMS. Each switch has around 3x SVI

I want to add a simple ICMP monitor for each SVI on each switch.

I seem to figure out how to add it and be alerted if the SVI goes down

Can some please help

LibreNMS is not doing this. It will only ping the management address.
Everything else is monitored via SNMP. So if an SVI goes down, you can alert based on its status directly without adding any ICMP monitor.
You can of course define (using services) a ping on each SVI, but that would not be automatic, and would take ages to do :slight_smile:

Is there a way to monitor the VRRP VIP for each switch.

We have a Layer 3 access layer

There is no VRRP snmp support so far. I suppose it could be implemented, but for now, the answer is no.
