MySQL error upon migration from XenServer to VMWare

Upon migrating my LibreNMS VM from XenServer to VMWare, I get this error when attempting to load the GUI:

"MySQL Error

Could not connect to localhost"

I’m on Ubuntu 16.04.2 and can login through my VMWare console. Let me know any advice! Thanks!

That’s quite a self explanatory error. You either have the wrong credentials set for your mysql user or mysql isn’t started.
