More and more modern hardware (especially in the access space) is dropping SNMP support and moving on to Netconf/YANG.
If LibreNMS is going to keep up with the times, Netconf/YANG support MUST be considered. In fact, if LibreNMS would add that support, they would be leading the way in NMS software packages.
If I had the ability to code, I’d work on this myself, As it is, I don’t have that strength, but I would be happy to help in testing.
