I’m having an issue with Oxidized and HP ProCurve 5406zl running SSH. Oxidized doesn’t appear to be doing a “sh run” command. It doesn’t make a copy of the running config but it makes a copy of the Status and Counters module information. This is causing Oxidized to make a new copy of what it thinks is the config, over 3000 for some switches. There are no issues viewing and the other 400 switches seem to be backing up just fine. The ProCurves seem to work properly on Telnet but don’t want to go that route. Any suggestions?
Alternatively copy the hp model from the source, make a custom model under the customs folder and there you remove any show commands that have counters etc.
