Parent of parents

We have an IPSec VPN to our customer. We run Librenms (on Debian 12) in our NOC to manage their devices.

I use parents, but only local device parents. I am looking for a way to suppress alerts during a VPN outage so we do not flood the customer with false positives.

Is there a parent of the parents feature where we can suppress alerts if the parent of parents is down but local parents are not?
