Promise VTrak E310f not displaying FAN,TEMP,CPU info

Hello All,

I’m having difficulty with libreNMS not recognising,reporting on all of the hardware components of an added device.

Promise VTrak E310f

Object ID mentioned above is - .1.3.6.1.4.1.7933.3.1
as opposed to what libreNMS is saying it is - .1.3.6.1.4.1.7933.1.10

Hardware: Generic ARMv5
Operating System: Linux 2.6.17-dw6
Object ID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.7933.1.10

using the script - ./discovery.php -m os -h 192.168.1.2 -d
(example device ip)

returns a whole list of stuff, but doesn’t seem to mention the hardware info I’d like. seems to refer to a ‘GANDI-MIB’?? (is this a generic/one-size fits all type MIB?)

Can I simply add MIB to - /opt/librenms/mibs and the discovery script will correct the device info on the libreNMS system?

Hi Laf,

I’m hoping to see memory and cpu pressure, SMART or some kind of disk health and throughput
forgive my ignorance, but am I not understanding what can be achieved with this tool? or would an agent need to be installed in order to gather more detailed info which is why the Test LibreNMS VM is able to show so much more stats.

Currently, on the LibreNMS dashboard, if I transfer data to the device it shows me the graph where more data appears to be going out than into the device.
