RRD units of measure MB mb

image

I noticed a weirdness with RRD units of measure. The graph legend at the top left shows (bps), yet the stats below the graph show (MB). Is there a possible way to use the correct capitalization?

Am I being picky? Probably.

M for Mbps is ok isn’t it ?

or do you mean the aggregate total volume of traffic at the bottom which is a completely different measurement

Can we add the little (b) to the graph units? It’s confusing to show other people these graphs. It needs to be either (Mb) or (m) for megabits. Without the parens of course.

The units are SI prefixes from the International System of Units.

M = Mega

The graph tells you it’s in bps, so it is Megabits per second.

If it was m, it would be millibits per second.

I think it’s a design choice to keep this as short as possible to not make the legend clustered.

I agree that the Total aggregate could be labelled differently some how to stop some confusion.
