Rule for Monitoring Shoutcast Source Data

Greetings,

I have managed to set up monitoring for a Shoutcast server and am able to receive SNMP data and see graphs. One thing we need to do is to see if the source data is being delivered to the Shoutcast server. I have tried to figure out how to make a rule based on bandwidth utilization of the incoming port, but the incoming data is so low that I can’t make a rule that monitors bandwidth in percent that’s less than 1% (of a gigabit port) as it won’t allow me to use decimals in the rules, only integers.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can make a rule or a macro that would enable me to monitor bandwidth based on kilobits per second and alert when it falls below a 64 kilobits per second for example?

Thanks.

There are some workarounds in this Threshold for traffic alertings

Thank you, that helped.
