Rule Mapping

I have created a couple of custom alert rules. I only wanted them to apply to their specific devices so I used Rule Mapping to map it to the target IP address. However, when I go to the device, in this case an APC UPS, go to Edit and then Alert Rules, only the original 8 default rules show up. It does not show the mapped rules.

Is the rule actually in effect? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help.

I don’t think individual device pages honour the mappings I’m afraid.

Does this mean that the rule mapping work but just are not visible on the device settings pages or that Rule Mappings does not work at the moment.

Rule mappings should work fine, you just don’t see them on the specific device page.
