Trying to update our alert templates. What’s a good way to make a rule that only includes ports with SFP modules? I been digging through the database but haven’t gotten very far yet.
Want to alert just optical SFP ports or also electrical?
Mainly just optical, we are trying to watch for SFPs going bad. I used sensors.sensor_current >= -30 which helped for now
Sounds similar to what I thought.
Maybe check via AND clause if sensor measurement is available to exclude electrical poets.
