SIP UDP 5060 service check

Hi folks,

does anyone have a running SIP UDP 5060 service check and can send me an example?

A try with nagios UDP check pluging will result everytime in a socket timeout after 10 seconds

./check_udp -H sipserver -p 5060 -s INVITE -e CANCEL
CRITICAL - Socket timeout after 10 seconds

do you have the firewall on where librenms is running?

Yes but port UDP 5060 is still open from inside network.
Checked with nmap and i make as well SIP calls over that connection.

It seems to be more a problem with the nagios plugin itself.

Any guesses?

No the local firewall from on the actual system where the check is being run from.

No, there is no firewall afaik.
Or is it per default in librenms running von Debian?

Can I get an additional “check_sip” nagios plugin working in librenms to test a SIP server/device for availability and response time.
