SMART Keeps deleting my last drive

I keep adding ‘sdg’ to the bottom of my /etc/snmp/smart.config but within 15 minutes it gets edited and removed. Sdg is a valid drive. I’ve tried deleting the cache file to no avail. What’s changing this file?

My bad. Puppet was overwriting the file. Oops.
