Smokeping and permissions

I’m trying to determine the cause of my permissions issue after installing Smokeping. I followed the instructions step by step in the doc. I am using RRDCacheD so I follwed the instructions to stop Smokeping service, move /var/lib/smokeping to /opt/librenms/rrd/ and the usermod -a -G librenms smokeping. According to the docs that should correct my persmissions issue. I can go to the Smokeping webpage from the Overview tab, select a device and see that graphs. If I select a device and open the Latency page all I see is empty graphs. Validate comes back ok but when I systemctl status smokeping.service all I’m seeing is RRDs::update ERROR opening '/opt/librenms/rrd/smokeping. Below is my screenshots of validate and systemctl status of the smokeping service. Any help would be appreciated.

What user is smokeping running as?

Ah ha, I think its running as root. What’s your recommend method to change that?

No idea  find what is running it and change it.

What is your OS?

Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
