While adding an snmp capable device which has ipv4 and ipv6 but ipv4 IP is not responding to icmp, adding the device failed with message “No ping response (Public IPv4 address)”. Same result if I try the poller.php or snmpwalk.
I think you should add an option “only ipv6” or “prefer ipv6” to avoid this problem
