SNMP Extend Timeout

Hi,

I’m finding that the os-updates.sh script takes “too long” (~ 5 seconds or so) on the Raspberry Pi, and it seems that as a result the output is not returned from the SNMP extend addition (back to LibreNMS). So I need the client to wait for the shell script to return, rather that just returning no output.

I have searched around, but can’t seem to find a way to have SNMP (snmpd I think?) wait … anyone had this issue (and know a fix)?

Thanks!

You can change the snmp timeout for the device that LibreNMS users: http://docs.librenms.org/Support/Configuration/#snmp-settings

If that doesn’t work I don’t know of any internal timeout values in net-snmp.

I made the change in the device SNMP setting (in the GUI) not at the config.php to set only specific RPi in order to not set the global. It works fine.
