SNMP Extreme VOSS: inventory ONLY ports UP?

On Extreme VOSS 7.1 switches (VSP-7xxx or VSP-8xxx), the SNMP port inventory is incomplete. It only shows UP ports and not DOWN or DISABLE ports.
What should I do to view all ports?

First, I would check if the device’s MIB includes those ports that you want to appear when the SNMP query is made.
It is possible that the current version does not include them. It’s happened to me with other things on other devices.

Secondly, if I don’t have the MIB, I would perform a “snmpwalk” from the command line and dump the output to a file. I would then analyze this to see if the data I’m looking for is actually sent over SNMP.

Based on this, you will be able to know if the data is available through SNMP, and at the same time, you will know which OID is related to it.
