Spikes in Graphs - removespikes.pl not working

I have some spikes in my graphs that I am trying to remove using the removespikes.pl script. No matter what I try I always get "No peaks found.!"
The historical graph for my firewall is unusable because it has a spike that goes to plus and minus 60 G.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve always used the php version in the same dir with success.

Perhaps we should delete the perl one?
