When I add, say, DESKTOP-ABCDXYZ, upon adding into LibreNMS it becomes desktop-abcdxyz. Then I need to manually put it back to DESKTOP-ABCDXYZ, which is annoying. Can LibreNMS please respect user input? It’s not like there’s a difference between dekTOp-aBCdXyz and DEskTOp-aBCdxYZ but there’s a definite reason for using, say, SqlSrvW2kR2 instead of sqlsvrw2kr2 as the latter is illegible for a casual reader. Why does LibreNMS insist on sanitizing the hostname?
