Support Custom System Name

Hi,
I’m currently trying to add a few devices to librenms.
Creating the necessary drivers/OS works well.
However, I have the problem that none of the devices uses the standard sysName OID for the host name, but an individual one.

Is there a way to display the system name in the web interface from this individual OID?
Or possibly to combine several OIDs to the system name?

Same problem with the locations.

Please help!

This is not really possible currently. Some refactoring of the code must be done first. Feel free to jump in and help us add this feature.

Hi,
thanks for you feedback. Thats really boring, so i can’t use librenms at this moment.
Because 200 of our devices have their hostname in a part of the custom mibs.

So there is no simple workarround available with custom device drivers or something?
