Time Taken To Detect Network/Route/Device Failure

Hi,

I’ve been playing around with LibreNMS but I noticed that it took some time for LibreNMS to detect a network failure (interface down, cable disconnected, etc.).

For example, when I disconnect a cable from the router, it takes usually more than 5 minutes for LibreNMS to detect that the route is down and to turn everything related to red.

Is this normal, or is this a hardware problem, or perhaps something else?

Default poll interval is 5 minutes. Until Libre doesnt poll and detect the port down will not alert.

There is a PR for runing alerts on received traps, but is a WIP.
