Transit port down alert

Hello,

I have a transit port down alert configured as below -

macros.port_down equal Yes
AND
ports.port_descr_type equal t

The delay on the alert is set to 0. I have noticed that there are no alerts triggered when the port goes down. The recent flaps on the circuit lasted for less than a minute and no alerts were generated.

Is there a way to trigger alerts on short term events as well?
