Hi, I’m using LibreNMS a while ago and it works wonders now my client asked me to send alarms with traps that send a softswitch with tcpdump I see that the traps arrive but I can not see them in the log and I do not understand how to send an alert with them.
Can somebody help me?

Hola estoy usando LibreNMS hace un tiempo y va de maravillas ahora mi cliente me pidió mandarle alarmas con traps que envía un softswitch con tcpdump veo que las traps llegan pero no puedo verlas en los log y no entiendo como mandar una alerta con ellas.

Did you configured the snmptrapd daemon correctly?
Take a look to https://docs.librenms.org/Extensions/SNMP-Trap-Handler/
Only a few basic traps are handled so you will need to alert on eventlog.

Install snmptrapd via your package manager.
Modify startup options to include -M /opt/librenms/mibs -m ALL
Along with any necessary configuration to receive the traps from your devices (community, etc.)
You have an example of that configuration.
