I am using email and Twilio alerts but Twilio alerts with DNS hostnames are not sending, but they will send with an IP address.
Some Twilio alerts do not get sent but the emails do. If I only have text in the template and no {{ $alert->variables }} they always send.
If I use {{ $alert->hostname }} alerts are only sent if the hostname is an IP address and not a DNS name. {{ $alert->severity }} for example, always works with Twilio.
It seems any alert that shows a link in the emails is not sent with Twilio. I checked that the character count is not too long.
The alert template I am using that exhibits this behavior looks like this:
