UPS (ups-nut) Missing in Health

When asking for help and support, please provide as much information as possible. This should include:

  • Steps to reproduce an issue. A bit odd, but I have a device that shows data in the UPS app (pic below), but it seems to be missing from Health (or on the device Overview page)? Other devices are fine, but this one is “missing” UPS information in Health … in status, and also in settings. But the UPS (app) data is current and correct?
  • The output of ./validate.php Pastbin, Untitled - LibreNMS

If it’s an issue with the WebUI then please consider including a screenshot and the browser version you are using.

If you are having troubles with discovery/polling include the pastebin output of:

./discovery.php -h HOSTNAME -d | ./pbin.sh
./poller.php -h HOSTNAME -r -f -d | ./pbin.sh

Nope, device is seen, polled, etc. Data is just fine in the UPS app, just now showing up in the Overview page, and also missing in Health (as pic below shows).

If you need to post any text longer than a few lines, please use a pastebin service such as https://p.libren.ms using non-expiring pastes.

I believe that UPS nut app is one thing and health sensor is another thing. Are other devices same os than that one where it is missing ? If you have health sensor than it’s propably bacause of native support of OS sensors for example about UPS stats. Can you post screenshot of device where it’s not working and where yes ? Thank you.

Hi,

You bet - some pics below, NP at all! A couple notes, that may help … and note, both machines are running Linux - and passing the data through ups-nut (SNMP extend).

The pics,
a) Working device - you can see here, the ups-nut data under Health (I just selected Battery Charge as an example),

b) Non-working device, ups-nut data not shown here (as an option to select)

Also, under Apps, UPS Nut … all my monitored machines show up (“good and bad” included), it’s just that I don’t see that data under Health for the “bad” device (but do for all the others, and there is a mix of OS’s there).

Thanks!
