I’m looking at application and service monitoring and graphing for Windows. I can see a lot of posts in the forums about how to monitor such things and I can’t see any answers other than use Services with NSClient (which hasn’t been updated by the developer since 2018) but services don’t create graphs, or use some other monitoring tool.
I see there are application poller modules for a lot of Unix daemons but nothing for Windows. I see the Check_MK agent supports e.g. reporting on MS SQL and Oracle stats for Windows and I could query them, but where do I start looking on the LibreNMS side to implement an application module and integration to pull and graph those stats?
Presumably if using check_mk that’s the Unix agent and then either the applications modules, or an MSSQL/Oracle other module, or an MSSQL/Oracle application module.
Alternatively, perhaps a WMI poller module or application?
Can anyone point me at a suitable existing module to look at as a starting point for querying for stats from those applications?
