Weathermap editor permission issue

hi there,
i have the same exact problem than:

Permissions issue with Network-Weathermap plugin

I’m not sure what happened to cause this change in behavior, but I’m having a permissions issue with my maps (.conf files) in the Network-Weathermap plugin. To make the maps editable, I have to change the owner of the files to www-data. If they belong to the librenms user (librenms), then I can not edit them. However, if they belong to www-data, then I can’t view them. In the screen clips below, the only map I can edit is “test.conf” but I can not display it outside of the Network-Weathermap…

from the editor, my maps are read only.
but i can modify the conf files with putty. (which is a bit tedious)

i tried the given solution, but the problem remains.
any clue?

I have exact same problem. Cannot edit files (read-only) Permissions are as recommended by documentation

What i did was to change ownership of the file .conf as
-rw-r–r-- 1 www-data librenms

Now i can both edit and view
